The experience

Motherhood, family, and newborn photoshoots are always baby- or child-led to capture those natural, candid moments. During the session, you'll be playing, feeding, and cuddling with your little ones.

Maternity photoshoots are a beautiful way to celebrate the beginning of your motherhood journey and your transition into parenthood. These sessions are designed to be both intimate and artistic, capturing the essence of this special time.

How it works

Simply reach out via the contact form, and I’ll send you a pre-booking guide along with my availability. Once we find a date and time that works for you, I’ll send over a contract and an invoice for the deposit. Once those are completed, your session is officially booked!

After that, you’ll receive a welcome and style guide, along with a questionnaire to help me tailor the session to your needs. Feel free to reach out anytime with any questions or concerns.

FAQ

What if it rains?

I always keep an eye on the forecast and will be in touch if the weather looks uncertain. Light rain or overcast skies can create beautiful, cosy photos, and maternity sessions can often still go ahead. But for little ones, cold and damp weather can be uncomfortable, so we may need to reschedule.

If rescheduling isn’t an option, we can move the session to your home for a warm, relaxed feel. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee a reschedule for a perfect sunset due to the unpredictable British weather, but overcast skies can be just as stunning!

Can my dog be involved?

Yes, of course! Pets are part of the family, and I love capturing those special bonds. As long as they’re comfortable around your children and the location allows them, they’re more than welcome to join in.

What If My child misbehaves or my Partner Feels Awkward?

It’s completely normal for children (and adults!) to feel a little unsure in front of the camera. Kids can be unpredictable, and partners might feel awkward—but that’s okay! My sessions are relaxed and playful, with plenty of movement, games, and even a few nursery rhymes to keep little ones engaged.

Rather than stiff poses, we focus on natural interactions—cuddles, laughter, and moments that feel real. No pressure, just fun! The most beautiful photos come from capturing your family just as they are, in all their perfectly imperfect magic.

How do we know what to wear?

I want you to feel comfortable and confident in your photos! I have a small client wardrobe with beautiful dresses for mums and outfits for little ones, which you’re welcome to borrow. My welcome guide also includes tips on colour palettes and what to avoid, helping you choose outfits that photograph beautifully.

If you need any advice, I’m always happy to help!

Do my children need to be on social media?

Not at all! I completely understand and respect your privacy. I would never share images or videos of your children if you asked me not to. I always double-check with you after the shoot before posting anything, so you have full control over what is shared.

Where should we do the photoshoot?

I have a list in my welcome guide of tried and tested locations, however I am always up for suggestions especially if a place holds sentimental value to your family.
